About the Cortez Cozy Inn

The Cozy Inn is a true mom & pop hotel. James & Gloria Parks bought the hotel in September 2012. For 30 years James was in the HVAC/R trades in Albuquerque New Mexico. Gloria was the bookkeeper for their service company. We have 3 boys (Jacob, Kevin, Nathan) and the youngest boy Nathan helps run the hotel. Gloria’s mom Maedell didn’t want to get left behind in New Mexico, so she came with us to Cortez. Maedell was born and raised here in Cortez. Maedell enjoys chatting with our guest during breakfast.
